Storžič sunrise (28.03.2017)

Storžič (2132 m) is the highest mountain in the western part of the Kamnik–Savinja Alps. The top is a nicely shaped cone (Slovene: storž), from which the mountain got its name.


Before I went abroad me and my friend decided to “conquer” Storžič. We are both sunrise lovers, so we hadn’t any other choice than went early in the morning and be on top before sunrise. We started in Mače and go throught Kališče to the top. It was still some snow on the way, but we didn’t need any winter equipment. I made a short timelapse of sunrise which you can see it below:
